As part of the drug company’s due diligence to evaluate their Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM), the company retained us to select and manage an audit of the PBM.

Solution

We’ve worked with many auditors over the years and we know which of them work effectively and efficiently in different circumstances. We contacted several of the most qualified auditors that we had worked with on other audit projects and selected the best one to review the client’s PBM. The auditor collected paid claim data from the PBM, processed it through their system, developed questions that were sent to the PBM for response, and prepared a final report.
